Christmas Lunch at the Longlands Hotel, Carnforth.

In December our members enjoyed Christmas lunch at the

Longlands Hotel.  The menu and food were excellent and

a good time was had by all.

With all the hustle and bustle December brings with organising Christmas,

it was decided that we deserved a little pampering for our January meeting.

We therefore booked an afternoon session at "the retreat" Kendal College.

  The Retreat is somewhere you can go to enjoy a wide range

 of cost-effective hairdressing, beauty and holistic therapies in a

 relaxing environment. Choose from their wide range of modern

 Hairdressing, Beauty and Spa treatments set in state of the

 Art Salons. All treatments are performed by Kendal College

Students under supervised conditions, with an emphasis on

maintaining the professional standards of a commercial salon.
